NECCOG has been providing GIS services for more than 10 years. NECCOG provides online mapping, including the most recent tax parcel data, aerial photography, zoning, wetlands and a variety of other layers. The application is free of charge and runs in most current web browsers. NECCOG GIS delivers the information created and stored by NECCOG through a “Cloud” delivery system. This approach offers the most cost-effective and flexible means for this program. In addition to parcel data, the system provides a range of other land use layers.
Our GIS department supports NECCOG’s and our member towns’ planning, transportation, environmental and community development services and projects. Our GIS services also include the ability to preform build-out analyses for future planning and decision making. In addition, the department works very closely with its members to facilitate the sharing of GIS data among government agencies and with the public to ensure the information is accurate, up-to-date and readily available.
